The Sheehan Phinney Business Litigation Group handles business disputes for individual and corporate plaintiffs and defendants throughout New England and across the country, in the state and federal systems at the trial and appellate levels, in arbitration forums, and before agency and regulatory bodies at all levels of government.

Our time-tested philosophy is that aggressive and proactive discovery produces favorable results for our clients.  We prepare cases vigorously and try cases frequently.

Some disputes, of course, are more effectively resolved through settlement than trial, and our team of well-experienced litigators has the wisdom to know the difference.  We work with our clients early on in all business disputes to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each case, assess critical business-related issues like return on investment and opportunity cost, and provide practical options.  We are also known for our considerable skills and successes in mediation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution settings, and will not hesitate to pursue such avenues when warranted.
