Senior Information Security Specialist:

Sheehan Phinney seeks seeks an experienced Senior Information Security Specialist to join its Information Technology team. This position serves as a Senior Information Security Specialist and reports to the Director of IT.  The position requires deep hands on knowledge of  Network Architecture, WAN/LAN security, Security Incident Management and Response, Security Threat and Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Security Administration; Security Education and Training, Auditing, system Monitoring, Secure Remote Communication Protocols, and compliance with federal and state regulations for secure data storage and transmission, such as HIPAA, PII, PHI.

Hands-on working knowledge of:

  • Penetration testing principles, tools, and techniques
  • Network security architecture, including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth, major protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, FTP, SSH, SSL, SMTP, LDAP, firewall configuration, etc.)

Marketing Coordinator

Sheehan Phinney seeks a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing and Business Development team in our Manchester, NH location.


The Marketing Coordinator is part of a close knit team and assists the Business Development Director with marketing and business development activities as described below. The role is heavily focused on client events, special projects, social media, creating marketing materials and supporting firm marketing strategies to fulfill the marketing department objectives along with other tasks as assigned.


  • Coordinates all facets of client events including: menus, logistics, AV, nametags and gifts
  • Provides timely tracking and RSVP reports for all events and sponsorships
  • Monitors budget for all event expenses and provides monthly balance sheet

Marketing/Public Relations:

  • Assists in establishing and maintaining consistent corporate image throughout promotional materials and events
  • Coordinates all external visibility using firm brand guidelines
  • Coordinates industry and community sponsorships and events
  • Assists attorneys with the creation of presentation materials and other presentation elements
  • Creates PowerPoint presentations, proposals and other marketing collateral pieces


  • Maintains and manages the day-to-day content management and operations including search engine optimization
  • Updates attorney bios and practice group descriptions
  • Analyzes website statistics and offers meaningful analysis for future changes/improvements

Social Networking:

  • Assists in the execution of a unified firm-wide social media strategy
  • Assists in the formatting, publishing and distribution of client alerts, newsletters, blogs and updating the firm’s LinkedIn Page

Office/Legal Assistant

Sheehan Phinney seeks an Office/Legal Assistant to join our team in our Manchester, NH location.


This position will be responsible for providing backup administrative support for legal assistants supporting attorneys, associates and/or paralegals.  Assignments may be short-term for just the day, or filling in for longer periods.  Responsibilities include typing documents (including document preparation and revisions), scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings and depositions, pleadings, correspondence, answering telephones, preparing expense reports, processing mail and using the internet to make travel reservations.  Keeps all client/attorney information confidential.  Copies, scans and files various client documents, which may include court and agency filings (including e-filing) and assists with closing/cleaning out files along with other tasks as assigned.
