Denise joined Sheehan Phinney in 2023. She received an Associates Degree in English from Anne Arundel Community College, Annapolis, Maryland, a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Beals College, Brunswick, Maine and completed 3 ½ years of study in political science at Salve Regina College, Newport, Rhode Island before returning home to care for ill and aging parents. After returning to Manchester, Denise worked as a private secretary/legal assistant to prominent Manchester attorney Theodore Wadleigh for 26 years gaining valuable experience in the areas of complex litigation, and estate and trust administration with an emphasis on administration of charitable remainder trusts. Following her employment with the Wadleigh Law Firm, Denise spent the next 10 years fostering her creative energies designing and creating custom window treatments and home accessories for the local design trade as well as many individual clients. Denise returned to the legal field joining Butenhof & Bomster in 2010 as both the Office Manager and Paralegal in the area of estate planning. Denise maintains her creative side sewing many one-of-a-kind garments, quilting, and knitting. Denise takes great pride in the accomplishments of her two adult daughters who are successfully pursuing their individual dreams as a high school music director and a chef. Denise continues to maintain her home in Londonderry spending many hours gardening and enjoying the serenity of her beloved ‘house on the hill’.
