(1/2/2018, Manchester, NH) – Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green PA attorneys Jason D. Gregoire and Jonathan B. Whitcomb have been elected as firm shareholders, effective January 1, 2018.

Gregoire’s health care practice consists of advising providers of all types on regulatory, corporate, contracting, licensing, risk management, privacy, and patient care issues. He has a wealth of experience in areas such as HIPAA, Part 2, Stark and Anti-Kickback, professional licensing, and Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement. He routinely represents licensees before health care licensing boards such as the NH Board of Medicine and NH Board of Nursing. Gregoire was a 2014 graduate of Leadership Seacoast and has been named a Rising Star by New England Super Lawyers® for his work in health care. He is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Vermont Law School and his B.S., summa cum laude, from Northeastern University.
Whitcomb’s practice centers on intellectual property, particularly patent prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and patentability and freedom to operate opinions. He specializes in U.S. and international protection for innovations in communication systems, embedded systems, computer electronics and interfaces, software, sensors and semiconductor devices, internet architectures, musical instruments and technology, optics, and medical imaging and devices. Whitcomb draws upon twenty years of experience as a development engineer in telecommunications, defense, and music software. He is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Whitcomb received his J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center, his BSEE from the University of Massachusetts and his A.B. in physics from Colgate University.
