Megan is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Group. She focuses her practice on construction law and real estate litigation.
Megan has deep ties in the real estate and construction industries. For over 20 years, Megan has represented parties in all phases of construction projects, from high-stakes contract negotiations through the litigation of complex, post-completion disputes. Prior to joining Sheehan Phinney, she served as In House Counsel to Brady Sullivan Properties, one of the largest and most dynamic real estate owners and developers in New England, for well over a decade. This provides her with unique insight into the management, operation and risks associated with large-scale commercial construction.
At Sheehan, Megan's practice focuses on all aspects of the construction industry. She represents owners, developers, suppliers, contractors, project managers and design professionals by providing strategic counseling, risk management and dispute resolution in federal and state court, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution forums.
Megan has extensive experience representing clients in commercial lease disputes. She regularly advises property owners and landlords on compliance with residential housing statutes and Fair Housing regulations. Megan has successfully represented landlords, contractors and property owners facing investigations by OSHA, environmental regulators and other government bodies.
