Crafts Named to Boston Bar Association Health Law Steering Committee

(Boston, MA) – Sheehan Phinney shareholder Amy Crafts has been named to the Boston Bar Association’s Health Law Steering Committee. Having served on the Steering Committee for the Health Law Conference in Spring 2025, Crafts will continue to work with other members of the Health Law Section to organize and promote programming that appeals to attorneys with a broad range of health-related interests.

Crafts is a member of the firm’s Government Investigations, Healthcare, and Business Litigation Practice Groups where she defends clients facing federal and state government investigations, conducts internal and independent investigations, and litigates complex business disputes. With over twenty years of experience in state government and multinational law firms, Crafts represents businesses and their executives in a range of industries including matters alleging fraudulent business practices, violations of the False Claims Act and consumer protection laws, and other commercial matters.  In addition, she represents medical professionals appearing before various licensing boards and is certified by ATIXA to conduct Title IX investigations in higher education settings.

Prior to joining Sheehan, Crafts served for ten years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where she served in numerous leadership capacities, including Chief of the False Claims Division.

Crafts is active in the legal community, currently serving on the Board of Editors for the Boston Bar Journal.  In addition, Crafts recently completed a two-year term as a Forum Co-Chair at the Boston Bar Association, and previously served as the Attorney General’s designee on the Inspector General Council.
