Bailey and Herz Named New Hampshire Bar Foundation Fellows
(Manchester, NH, MA, June 11, 2025) Sheehan Phinney shareholders Elizabeth Bailey and Courtney Herz were selected as New Hampshire Bar Foundation Fellows. They received this designation at the 2025 Fellows Justice Reception.
The New Hampshire Bar Foundation Fellows is an honorary organization of attorneys and judges who have been elected by their peers to become members of The Fellows. They have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the legal profession and unwavering dedication to serving the public, particularly in supporting equal access to justice and the improvement of our justice system. Fellows support the aims of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation through annual contributions, pro bono work and through participation in activities and events that advance the mission and work of the Bar Foundation.
Bailey has practiced in the areas of management-side employment law counseling and litigation since 1992. Her client base ranges from private corporations to municipalities and counties. Bailey works closely with HR professionals, management teams and in-house counsel to develop effective risk management strategies and cost-effective ways to avoid employment-related problems. Bailey’s practice also includes conducting investigations about workplace issues. She received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from Smith College. Bailey has been recognized for her work in Labor and Employment Law, by New England Super Lawyers®, Best Lawyers in America®, including Manchester, NH Lawyer of the Year for 2024, 2022, and 2021, and Chambers USA.
Herz is an experienced trial attorney who has litigated cases to favorable outcomes for both plaintiffs and defendants, in a wide variety of civil matters. She works closely with clients to implement strategies for achieving their particular goals, ranging from assisting clients in negotiating strategic settlements to litigating important issues to conclusion in court. Herz received her J.D., cum laude, from Cornell University Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Tufts University. She has been recognition for her work in Business Litigation by New England Super Lawyers® and Best Lawyers in America®.
