Sheehan Phinney Expands Manchester Office

(Manchester, NH, September 16, 2021) – Sheehan Phinney welcomes two new attorneys to the firm, Nicole Waldow Austin and Jennifer P. Lyon. Both Austin and Lyon will work primarily out of the firm’s Manchester, NH office.

Austin has joined the firm’s Healthcare and Corporate Practice Groups. Prior to joining Sheehan Phinney, Austin served as a term law clerk to the Honorable Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi, Associate Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court. During law school, Austin’s legal experience included working as a legal resident for the Honorable Landya B. McCafferty, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and as an intern for the ACLU-NH. Austin is admitted in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She received her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, summa cum laude, in 2019 and her B.S., with great distinction, from Clarkson University in 2009. Before turning to the law, Austin spent over six years working for a multinational, Fortune 500 company as a business consultant and project manager.

Lyon has joined the firm’s Business Litigation Group. Prior to joining Sheehan Phinney, she was an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of NH, as well as the Rockingham County Superior Court as a judicial intern, and the ACLU-NH Immigrants’ Rights Project where she did appellate work. Lyon also completed a year-long practicum with the New England Innocence Project. While at the University of New Hampshire School of Law Lyon was a Teacher’s Assistant, a Research Assistant, and assisted the Rudman Center with an amicus brief for the NH Supreme Court. She is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and to the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. Lyon received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and her B.S. from Brigham Young University.
