Significant Win for Lakes Region Community Developers and Sheehan’s Land Use & Zoning Team

Sheehan Phinney attorneys Megan Carrier, Courtney Herz, and Lizzie Manning won a significant victory in Grafton County Superior Court on behalf of Lakes Region Community Developers. The case challenged the Town of Ashland and its Planning Board’s denial of subdivision and site plan applications for the Village at Mill Pond, a 76-unit affordable rental housing development with four single-family lots to be built in partnership with Pemi Valley Habitat for Humanity. The denial was overturned, and the Town was ordered to pay all of the client’s attorney fees.
