(April 1, 2017, Manchester, NH) – Sheehan Phinney shareholder Joseph DiBrigida was named to the Board of Directors for the NH Center for Nonprofits.
The NH Center for Nonprofits is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, statewide association dedicated to providing programs and resources that support nonprofit organizational capacity building and to partnering with sector leaders, businesses, and the broader community to elevate the visibility and status of the nonprofit sector. A core operating value for the Center is relevance. To support the growth, leadership and impact of the nonprofit sector requires that their programs and advocacy be relevant to what is needed today.
DiBrigida’s practice concentrates on all stages of business representation: formation, financing and capital-raising, day-to-day advising, contract formation and review, business planning, sales, acquisitions and mergers. He serves as outside general counsel to a variety of businesses and not-for-profit institutions in a wide range of industries. He has particular concentrations in the communications and broadcast industries, as well as family-owned businesses.
Active in the community DiBrigida serves as Chairman to the NH Department of Justice Executive Branch Ethics Committee, he is on the Board of Directors for the Visiting Nurse Association of Southern New Hampshire and Board of Directors, Directors of the Palace Theatre. He is the current President of the NH Business Committee for the Arts. DiBrigida is a member of the Dartmouth Lawyers Association and a graduate of both Leadership Manchester and Leadership New Hampshire. He is admitted in New Hampshire and received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and his J.D. from Boston College Law School.
