Practice Focus
Jim practices in the areas of bankruptcy, debtor-creditor relations, workouts and reorganizations, and business litigation. In the bankruptcy court, he represents secured lenders, creditor committees, trustees, unsecured creditors and small and larger business debtors in their liquidation or reorganization efforts. Jim also represents parties involved in bankruptcy preference actions, dischargeability complaints and defendants in violation of stay cases. Outside of the bankruptcy court, he has represented both creditors and debtors in foreclosure proceedings, secured party sales, workouts and collection actions.

Jim is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. He is also admitted to the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and has been on multiple panels for the ABI’s Annual Northeast Bankruptcy Conference. Jim is also a graduate of the Leadership of Manchester Class, 2005.
