Practice Focus
Mike’s active litigation practice emphasizes recovery for personal injury damages caused by the negligent acts of corporations, physicians and motorists. He also defends insurance companies, professionals, businesses and private individuals in civil and criminal matters brought by individuals, state and federal governments, and their regulatory agencies. He practice also focuses on product liability issues. Mike was the former chief of the Criminal Division of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, and has practiced with our firm since 1973.

Recognized by his peers, in a poll conducted by the New Hampshire Bar Association and published in New Hampshire Magazine (2003) in the “Lawyer Most Like Atticus Finch” category. He also has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America from 2005-2007 in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section as well as named a New England Super Lawyer.
Memberships and Admissions
Mike is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and New York, at the Federal District Court of New Hampshire and before the United States Supreme Court, where he has met with success. He also has handled cases in Florida, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the New Hampshire Bar Association. Mike also is the past President of the New Hampshire Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Community Involvement
Mike has served on the Uniform State Laws Commission for the State of New Hampshire since 1980 and is the former President of the Concord Board of Education.
