Practice Focus

David concentrates his practice on venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and private offerings of securities, while counseling clients on day-to-day matters such as corporate governance and commercial contracts. He also represents clients in litigation matters that involve securities law.

Prior to joining Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, David served as enforcement counsel for the New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation, and he has worked as an analyst and portfolio accountant in the investment industry.

Honors

In 2010, the New Hampshire Union Leader and New Hampshire Business and Industry Association named David one of the state's 40 Under Forty. In 2009 he was selected as a Rising Star by New England Super Lawyers in the area of Securities & Corporate Finance. He received the Donald McKelvie Scholarship for Achievement in Economics and the Witkin Award, Corporations.

Memberships and Admissions

David is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Community Involvement

In 2009 David was appointed by Governor Lynch to the Citizen's Funded Election Task Force, a bipartisan group created to develop a plan for the public financing of political campaigns in New Hampshire. He serves on the board of directors of New Horizons for New Hampshire, a homeless shelter, food pantry and soup kitchen; and the Manchester Young Professionals Network, which creates business opportunities for young professionals and fosters an overall investment in the future of Manchester.

David has also served on a search committee for the Superintendent of the Manchester School District, as a United Way Community Volunteer, and on a judges panel for the LifeSmarts State Championship for high school students sponsored by the New Hampshire Jump$tart Coalition for financial literacy. While working in state government, He was a member of the United States Attorney’s Office Identify Theft Task Force.
