Practice Focus
Dan's practice focuses primarily on working with clients to protect and enforce their intellectual property rights and deal with the evolving world of electronic commerce. Dan helps businesses and creative professionals navigate copyright law, including advising clients on copyright infringement issues and licensing disputes, recording copyright documentation with the U.S. Copyright Office, and contributing to the drafting of copyright policies for secondary education clients. He effectively works with clients to enforce their copyrights, and has stopped thousands of instances of online copyright infringement occurring both domestically and internationally.
Dan additionally works with clients to defend and enforce their trademarks and advises clients on all phases of trademark prosecution, including adoption, searching, screening, and federal registration. Dan has worked with clients in connection with trademark licensing agreements and trademark infringement disputes, and has successfully helped clients reclaim internet domain names from cybersquatters worldwide.
Dan contributes to the drafting of social media policies, and advises clients on electronic data security requirements and federal identity theft regulations.

Honors
While at Boston University, Dan was a Third Year Editor for the American Journal of Law and Medicine. He was selected as a Rising Star by New England Super Lawyers in 2011.
Memberships and Admissions
Dan is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
Community Involvement
Dan is a member of the steering committee of the William S. Green Manchester Youth Leadership Program.
