Practice Focus
Since joining the firm in 2005, Courtney has assisted clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, working with individuals and companies of all sizes. In particular, she has represented clients in close corporation shareholder disputes, petitions to partition real property, matters concerning allegations of employment discrimination and non-competition agreement violations, and post-divorce family law litigation. Courtney has appeared before the New Hampshire Department of Labor; New Hampshire Supreme, Superior, District, and Family Division Courts; and the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.

Honors
In 2010 and 2011 Courtney was selected as a Rising Star by New England Super Lawyers in the area of Business Litigation. She was the 2011 recipient of the Sheehan Phinney Kimon S. Zachos Pro Bono Achievement Award, given to an attorney who makes a significant contribution to the firm's pro bono endeavors. While at Cornell, Courtney was elected as an Officer of the Cornell Legal Aid Clinic, where she represented clients in New York state courts. She was awarded a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in 2004, and was the Supervisory Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal. Courtney was also chosen as a teaching assistant for an undergraduate course on law as well as the law school’s first-year research and writing course.
Memberships and Admissions
Courtney is admitted to practice in the New Hampshire state courts, the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and in the United States Courts of Appeals for the First and Second Circuits. She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association.
Community Involvement
Courtney is a member of the Board of Trustees for the New Hampshire Children's Trust, and currently serves as the Board’s Secretary. She is also a member of the Board for the Acting Loft Academy of Performing Arts.
