(November 1, 2005. Boston, MA.) - The regional business law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green proudly announces the relocation and expansion of its Boston office. Now located at One Boston Place, the new offices more than double the New Hampshire-based firm's presence in Boston.
Sheehan Phinney, the first New Hampshire law firm to establish a full-service office in the heart of Boston, demonstrates the growing phenomenon of "upstream migration," an evolving business strategy which sees smaller, more nimble firms moving into bigger markets to service the mid-sized clients deemed to be "too small" for the increasingly prodigious, multinational law offices.
Currently, attorneys Maria E. Recalde and Mark J. Ventola are based in the firm's Boston office. The firm has hired two senior-level attorneys to join the Boston office and expects to announce those new additions in the near future.
"Our new location is just the first step in our ongoing strategy to expand Sheehan Phinney's presence in the greater Boston market, to increase our regional scope, and augment our ability to serve mid-sized businesses," said the firm's Managing Partner Joseph A. DiBrigida. "We plan to make several announcements in the coming months that will bring that strategy to bear."
Recalde's practice focuses on Internet and e-commerce law, as well as on intellectual property, unfair competition and complex business litigation. She also provides general corporate representation to start-up and emerging companies.
Ventola has a multi-faceted practice that focuses on employment and labor law, general business and civil litigation. In addition to advising clients about the many aspects of the relationship between employer and employee, he serves as general counsel to a number of small and middle-market businesses, providing advice on corporate governance and institutional concerns.
