(May 23, 2008. Manchester, NH.) - The law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA hosted another sold out crown at the 20th Annual Employment Law Update on Thursday, May 22, 2008.
This year's program, led by attorneys from the firm's Labor, Employment & Employee Benefits Group focused on various human resource-related issues including a review of recent developments in employment law, wage and hour update, enforcing attendance and leave policies, dealing with independent contractor issues, handling benefit law changes, managing workers compensation and safety issues, resolving discrimination complaints and a panel discussion on issues involving Baby Boomers.
Gary Hirshberg, CE-Yo of New Hampshire's Stonyfield Farm, was the program's luncheon speaker. This well-known entrepreneur shared his thoughts on business and culture from his new book: Stirring It Up: How to Make Money and Save the World.
A record crowd from New England's Business/HR community attended the one-day program, held at C.R. Sparks Event Center, Bedford, NH. Sheehan Phinney also hosted a reception from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. celebrating the event's 20th Anniversary. Next year's event will be held on May 21, 2009. The event location is yet to be determined.
