| (September 13, 2011, Manchester, NH) - The law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA is pleased to announce that Jon S. Liland has been elected as a Shareholder of the firm effective September 1, 2011.
Before joining the firm in 2007, Liland was an attorney with Pierce Atwood LLP. He is a member of Sheehan Phinney's corporate department where he has a broad commercial practice that draws upon his experience in corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions and divestitures, in the creation of new business entities, and in complex contractual negotiations. Liland is based in the Sheehan Phinney's Hanover, NH office.
Liland is admitted to practice in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He received his B.A. from Cornell University and his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors for the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and organizes a monthly series of educational programs for members of The Tuck School.
