(January 1, 2009. Manchester, NH.) - The law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA is pleased to announce that James P. Harris has been elected as a Shareholder of the firm effective January 1, 2009.
Harris is a member of the firm's litigation department where his practice includes the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in such areas as insurance law, employment litigation, municipal and administrative law, business litigation, and construction litigation. He has also developed experience in electronic discovery issues in the litigation context as well as data retention policies for businesses.
Harris is a member of the New Hampshire Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice and currently is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Legislation Committee. He is actively involved in the community including the current Board of Trustees Chair for the Kevin T. McHugh Memorial Scholarship Fund, a member of the Board of Advisors for Trinity High School, as well as the Chairman of their Membership Committee. In addition he serves on a Community Investment Team of the Heritage United Way and also serves on the New Hampshire Catholic Charities' Corporate Campaign. Harris received his B.A. (with honors) from Swarthmore College and his J.D. (magna cum laude) from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
