(June 28, 2007. Manchester, NH.) - Attorney Peter Nieves, of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, was recently accepted to the Leadership Greater Manchester class of 2008.
Attorney Nieves is the head of the firm's Patents Group. He prosecutes patents before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), provides patent litigation support, and regularly counsels clients and renders opinions concerning the patentability of ideas, infringement/non-infringement of patents, the validity/invalidity of patents, and the design of products and processes to avoid potential infringement assertions. He also prosecutes trademarks before the USPTO and renders opinions concerning trademarks.
Peter is a committee member of the MIT Enterprise ForumĀ®, a member of the Inventor's Association of New England, a Board Member of Natural Entrepreneur of New Hampshire and donates time to lecturing groups of inventors on intellectual property law. Peter is also an Adjunct Professor at Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, NH, and he has assisted in teaching courses at the Tuck and Thayer schools at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.
