(August 1, 2008. Manchester, NH.) - Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA Shareholder Peter A. Nieves was elected as an Officer of the New Hampshire Chapter of the MIT Global Leadership Enterprise Forum. His term will last until the end of 2009.
Nieves is the head of the firm's Patents Group. His practice focuses on many aspects of intellectual property, including domestic and foreign preparation and prosecution of patents and trademarks, and disputes concerning patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Nieves is a Board Member of both the Inventor's Association of New England and the Natural Entrepreneur of New Hampshire. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Franklin Pierce Law Center and has assisted in teaching courses at the Tuck and Thayer schools at Dartmouth College.
The MIT Global Leadership Enterprise Forum provides technology-based businesses with the opportunity to tap the experience and advice of proven experts on business planning, organization, marketing, product development and funding.
