| (June 20, 2011, Manchester, NH) - Sheehan Phinney shareholder Paul J. Durham will speak at the Arts, Culture & the Law Conference on June 24th, 2011. The conference will be held at UNH School of Law from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Durham will be among three panelists in a discussion titled ‘Theatre issues: Who has the rights--and how do you get them?
The Arts, Culture and the Law Conference is a one-day event bringing together individuals from both the legal and Arts and Culture communities for a series of panel discussions. Attendees include members of the Arts and Culture industry, businesses large and small (including individuals), not-for-profits and municipal organizations. The conference is presented by the NH Department of Cultural Resources, NH Department of Justice, NH Center for Nonprofits, UNH School of Law and NH Business Committee for the Arts. Durham chairs the firm's Entertainment, Media and Publishing practice group and represents individual artists, authors, independent filmmakers and television producers. He also assists companies and entrepreneurs with varied corporate matters including business formations, domestic and international contracts and licensing. He has taught undergraduate and MBA-level law and business courses at Southern New Hampshire University and Daniel Webster College. Durham is a board member and patron of New Hampshire Writers' Project.
