(August 16, 2007. Manchester, NH.) - Attorney Brian Thomas, an attorney at Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, was recently asked to serve on the finance board of New Hampshire Catholic Charities.
New Hampshire Catholic Charities is the largest private non-profit social service agency in the state. In pursuit of their mission to "strive for social justice and dedicate ourselves to providing quality health and social service programs that heal, comfort, and empower" Catholic Charities provides services ranging from assistance for refugees and immigrants to caring for the Granite State's elderly. NHCC also operates the New Hampshire Food Bank.
Attorney Thomas' practice is focused primarily on litigation matters, including commercial and trade secrets litigation. Born and raised in New Hampshire, he earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude at Boston College, and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. While at Suffolk Law, from which he also graduated magna cum laude, Brian was a Note Editor for the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy and a member of the Suffolk University Moot Court Honor Board. He was also the recipient of the Best Oral Advocate Award and the Best Appellate Brief Award.
