| (January 18, 2012, Manchester, NH) - Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA shareholder Bradford E. Cook has been named to Business NH Magazine's "2012 Influencer Index " in the magazine's January, 2012 issue.
Business NH Magazine reached out to leaders in various industry sectors across the state asking them who has the most influence. The list consists of 65 people, families and organizations that ‘make it happen' in New Hampshire. Cook, referred to as "a Political and Nonprofit Maestro", is known for being connected. One leader said, "Brad knows virtually everyone in the state — in politics, business, nonprofit and government. When high profile or difficult projects come to New Hampshire and they look for someone to open doors, Brad is one of the people they call."
Cook is head of the firm's Government Relations and Not-for-Profit, Charitable and Religious Institutions Practice Groups. He is a past President of the firm and has practiced with Sheehan Phinney since 1973. He represents many colleges and private secondary schools, religious organizations throughout New England, and hospital, nursing home and other charitable clients. Cook also represents both for-profit and not-for-profit clients before the New Hampshire Legislature on a regular basis, and practices general corporate law.
Cook's list of professional and civic involvements is extensive. He currently serves as a Trustee of the University of New Hampshire School of Law, as President of the Little Sunapee Protective Association, and as a board member, Secretary and member of the Executive Committee of the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire (BIA).Cook was a graduate of the first class of both Leadership Manchester and Leadership New Hampshire and now is a member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Manchester Steering Committee. He is Chair of the Easter Seals Vermont Board of Directors, Assistant Secretary of Easter Seals New York and Chair of the Board of the Harbor Schools of Massachusetts.
