The IADC is known as the oldest and most prestigious international organization of attorneys representing corporations and insurers and is a national leader in legal reform and professional development.

Since joining Sheehan Phinney in 1980, Mr. Cowan has built an active business litigation practice with special emphasis representing design professionals, contractors and owners in construction disputes, and both employers and employees in trade secret, non-competition and confidentiality cases. He chairs the firm's Litigation Department and also serves on the Management Committee.
