(September 5, 2007. Manchester, NH.) - Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green attorney Kimon Zachos has again been included in The Best Lawyers in America by Woodward/White, a national research firm. Zachos is one of 22 SPB+G attorneys to be honored this year and was named to the list for his work in trusts and estates law.
As Sheehan Phinney's senior partner, Kimon's practice encompasses corporate, banking and estate planning law. In addition to a legal career which spans nearly fifty years, Kimon also has dedicated his personal time to the State of New Hampshire and to countless business, civic and cultural organizations. From 1965-1966, Kimon served as a White House Fellow as a special assistant to U.S. Attorney General Katzenbach. He also served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 1969 through 1974, where he was Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Majority Leader and Deputy Speaker. He earned his B.A. from Wesleyan University, his LL.M. in taxation from Boston University, and his J. D. from New York University School of Law.
Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."
