(February 28, 2007. Manchester, NH.) - Peter Nieves, an attorney with Sheehan Phinney was appointed to the position of MIT Enterprise Forum Global Liaison for its New Hampshire Chapter.
This non-profit organization was founded by the MIT Alumni Association in 1978. Through its 24 worldwide chapters, the MIT Enterprise Forum forms relationships between technology entrepreneurs and to the communities in which they reside. The Forum works to help technology-oriented companies get their start and grow their companies through a series of educational programs.
Attorney Nieves is a patent attorney whose practice focuses on many aspects of intellectual property including: domestic and foreign preparation and prosecution of patents; domestic and foreign preparation and prosecution of trademarks; licensing; legal opinions concerning patents; trademarks; copyrights; and disputes concerning patents, trademarks, copyrights and domain names. In January of this year, Peter was named to New Hampshire Union Leader 40 Under Forty List.
