(January 22, 2009. Manchester, NH.) - Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA attorney Paul J. Durham has been elected to the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Writers' Project for a three year term.
The New Hampshire Writers' Project, a statewide nonprofit literary arts organization, serves as a resource for writers, publishers, booksellers, literary agents, educators, librarians and readers in and near New Hampshire. They support the development of individual writers and encourage an audience for literature in New Hampshire. The New Hampshire Writers' Project is the only statewide literary organization for writers in all genres and at all levels, with more than 750 members.
Durham chairs Sheehan Phinney's Entertainment, Media and Publishing practice group and represents individual artists, authors, independent filmmakers and television producers. Durham also assists companies and entrepreneurs with varied corporate matters including business formations, domestic and international contracts and licensing. Before moving to New Hampshire, Durham was Senior Counsel at Playboy TV International, LLC, where he managed international legal affairs for the television company and assisted executives in launching branded television networks around the world. He has taught undergraduate and MBA-level law and business courses at Southern New Hampshire University and Daniel Webster College.
