(December 15, 2006. Manchester, NH.) - Bruce A. Harwood, a shareholder and the head of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green's insolvency and creditors' rights department, was appointed to the Heritage United Way's Board of Directors for a three-year term.
For 25 years, Harwood has practiced almost exclusively in the areas of bankruptcy and insolvency. He restructures debt and reorganizes businesses inside and outside of formal bankruptcy proceedings, and represents secured and unsecured creditors in all kinds of insolvency matters. He also mediates disputes arising in connection with debtor-creditor relations. Woodward-White has named him one of the Best Lawyers in America for over ten years, and was recently named by Chambers USA in its top tier of bankruptcy lawyers.
The Heritage United Way represents Manchester and 16 surrounding communities. Harwood is a 1978 graduate from Northwestern University and received his JD from the Washington University in St. Louis in 1981. He is a resident of Bedford, NH.
