(September 21, 2009, Manchester, NH) - Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green attorney David Allen was selected as Chair for the 2010 New Hampshire Start-up Challenge.
The New Hampshire Start-up Challenge is a business plan competition that is designed to encourage entrepreneurship and social innovation across the state. In the coming year, each of the finalists of the Challenge will receive a scholarship to the Stonyfield Entrepreneurial Institute for 2010, and the ultimate winner will receive $25,000 as a cash award, and more in in-kind services to help launch its business.
David concentrates his practice on venture capital and private offerings of securities, while counseling clients on day-to-day matters such as corporate governance and commercial contracts. He also represents clients in litigation matters that involve securities law. Active in the local community, David serves on the board of directors of both the New Horizons for New Hampshire and the Manchester Young Professionals Network, which created and sponsors the Challenge.
